As our Procurement & Supply Planning Lead, you’ll ensure the right ingredients and packaging are available at the right time—supporting production, quality, and long‑term growth across the business.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply planning, or inventory planning
  • Background in food manufacturing, ingredients, or CPG preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel proficiency
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • A proactive, solutions‑driven mindset with strong communication skills

What you'll do:

  • Plan and procure materials: Lead purchasing strategies for raw ingredients, packaging, and corrugate using short‑ and mid‑term forecasts to support production and customer demand
  • Manage suppliers: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, managing pricing, lead times, minimums, expirations, and contingency sourcing for critical materials
  • Support demand and inventory planning: Develop and maintain forecasts using historical usage, customer orders, and production inputs while maintaining visibility into open purchase orders
  • Improve inventory visibility: Track usage, expirations, lot traceability inputs, and balances to reduce risk, excess inventory, and obsolescence
  • Partner across teams: Collaborate with Production, Quality, Finance, Business Development, and Customer teams to align procurement decisions with operational needs
  • Control costs and improve margins: Analyze total delivered cost—including freight—and identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities
  • Support packaging and production: Plan packaging availability, track usage tied to production activity, and coordinate with Production leadership to prevent line disruptions
  • Drive continuous improvement: Enhance procurement workflows, planning tools, supplier strategies, and documentation to support scalable growth and operational excellence

What you'll do:

  • Manage staff: Recruit, select, train, and mentor evening shift employees 
  • Improve efficiency: Organize and monitor workflow while analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing processes 
  • Maintain quality & safety: Establish and enforce production standards while following strict safety procedures to keep employees safe
  • Maintain equipment: Ensure equipment is operating properly, and evaluate new equipment and techniques 
  • Completing production plans: Schedule and assign personnel, establish priorities, and monitor progress 
  • Solve problems: Facilitate corrections to malfunctions, and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain records: Maintain operations data such as time, production, and cost records
